Metallic meteorite, coarse octahedrite IAB.
Complete specimen with fusion crust. It weighs 114 grams, found in 1997 in Patagonia. Measures ± 4.5 x 3.5 x 2.2 cm.
The analysis of the metal reveals that it contains Nickel (6.62%),
Galena (90. Oppm), Germanium (392 ppm.), Iridium (3.2 ppm.).
* Discovered for the first time in 1571, it is believed that this meteorite may have fallen 4,000-6,000 years ago. The pieces vary in size from grains of sand up to 35 tons.
