Tooth measuring ± 2.5 x 1.1 cm, from a small tyrannosaurid. Very good conservation, unworn, with its well-marked saw. Very difficult piece to find for sale, since this species is only found in North America.
Delivered with box and description.
*Is Nannotyrannosaurus (Nannotyrannus) its own species or a juvenile T-rex?
There is enough evidence to prove that Nannotyrannus is its own species:
-The brain has a different shape than the brain of a T-rex.
- In the lower jaw, the T-rex has 13 teeth and the Nannotyrannus has 17 teeth in the lower jaw.
- The skull is positioned differently than that of a T-rex.
-While related to the Tyrannosaurus Rex, the T-rex's teeth crushed bones and the teeth of Nannotyrannus tore flesh.
