Scapolite var. Marialita, since the proportion of Na (marialite, Na₄Al₃Si₉O₂₄Cl) is higher than that of calcium (meionite, Ca₄Al₆Si₆O₂₄CO₃).
The crystals occur as tetragonal prisms truncated by the basal pinacoid and the first-order bipyramid. Transparent, with color zoning and some inclusions. They exhibit some fluorescence under UV-OL light.
The crystal measures approximately 3.2 x 1.3 cm and is mounted on a 3 x 3 x 2 cm methacrylate base.
