Limonite pseudomorph after pyrite

Plate, floating, of small cubes of Pseudomorphic Limonite of Pyrite of ± 5 x 5cms. The largest cube measures 3.2cm in edge.

* A pseudomorph forms when a mineral (limonite, in this case) replaces another (pyrite), while retaining the original mineral form.
