Piece measuring ± 16.2 x 9.5 cm, with several leaves perfectly preserved on both sides of the plate. The largest leaf measures ± 7.5 cm and they are not painted or highlighted, it is the oxidation of the minerals that gives them these colors

Family Glossopteridales fossils are a group of seed plants that occurred during the Permian in the south of the large continent of Gondwana. These plants went on to become a dominant part of the southern flora during the Permian, although reduced to extinction by end of the Triassic Period.
