* Edrioasteroidea, is a class of echinoderms that arose at the beginning of the Cambrian and were extinguished at the end of the Carboniferous.
The main body (teak) is composed of a series of small plates, out of which 5 arms are arranged around the mouth.
They differ from the current Echinoderms in having the mouth and anus at the top of the teak.
