This is example of one of the more uncommon fish from the Green River Formation. The specimen displays great preservation with highly detailed with the bone structure, vertebrae ,fins.
This complete fossil fish, without any restoration, measures 16.3 cm and is well centered on a rectangular plate 25.7 x 15.8 cm.
*A member of the Family Percidae. It is known as a predatory species as determined from its many pointed teeth, and the fact that several have been found with fish lodged in its throat.
