Piece measuring ± 13.7 x 11 cm with two perfectly preserved leaves. They are not painted or highlighted, it is the oxidation of the minerals that gives them these colors. The largest leaf measures ± 6 x 1.2 cm.
Family fossil Glossopteridales are a group of seed plants that arose during the Permian in the big southern continent of Gondwana .These plants went on to become a dominant part of the flora of the South during the Permian, although reduced to extinction the late Triassic Period.
