Piece of ± 18ms x 10 cms with two fossils of different species, the Edrioasteroidea measures ± 2.2 cms in diameter and the star (Stenaster) measures ± 2.9 cms in diameter.
* Edrioasteroidea, is a class of Echinoderms that arose at the beginning of the Cambrian and became extinct at the end of the Carboniferous.
The main body (teak) is composed of a series of small plates, from which 5 arms are placed around the mouth.
They differ from current Echinoderms in having the mouth and anus in the upper part of the teak.
